I hate olives and I don't love anchovies, which makes Pasta Puttanesca one of the pastas I do not like. But today I'm going to see if there is a way to make it that I might enjoy.

I tried this and it was amazing. I am not a putenesca lover but my Wife loves it. It worked for both of us. I used a good quality imported gluten free pasta and could not tell the difference with this rich sauce.

i love puttanesca & i hate anchovies. yuck. but the flavor would not be the same w/o it. same as my caesar dressing. so i use anchovy paste. keeps in the fridge for like ever....... i just "discovered" you from reels on facebook. the one about pastina & i gotta say i'm hooked. i am your humble follower 😁

I went to a cooking store in Bloomington, Indiana about a year ago and found the same olives that you used. We normally get horrible olives here in the US, so I was surprised by the wonderful flavor of those Sicilian olives. These were the first green olives that I liked.
