RIGATONI AND MEATBALLS

When I'm feeling down in the dumps, I go straight to Rigatoni and Meatballs. Pasta is one of the most comforting meals to me, and pasta and meatballs takes to cake, in my opinion. Follow along and learn how this Italian cook makes perfect meatballs. I'll show you how to make tender meatballs. Italian food is always molto bene.

Has anyone tried freezing these? I’d love to make them for a pre Thanksgiving day meal- but do the work well in advance so I can enjoy company. Thanks!

I love this recipe! I bake my meatballs on a sheet pan and they turn out so well. Thank you Steve! Because of you there are no dull, bland meatballs in this house

How long/ what temp do you bake at? I thought this would be a better idea too but I think I overcooked them. Only thing I want to tweak next time I make.

You say 1 cup breadcrumbs in video but specify 1/2 cup in written instruction, which is correct?

You know what makes my bad day better? Watching your videos and trying to make your amazing food. THANK YOU. If still lived in NYC I would definitely wanna be your friend!

Love, love love my new go to meatball recipe. Thank you. They are better than my Italian auntie's.

I still use my old Italian auntie's

'finish in the oven at 325 for 2 hours, covered" after all the steps from this recipe, up to finishing in pot, are performed. Instead of a pot- a baking pan slow, even heat, no chance of any meatball getting dinged. Oven method! set it- forget it!
