The year is 1995, Pizza Hut is at the height of its power.
They were on the eve of delivering two of the best and most memorable gifts in food history. The five dollar all-you-can-eat lunch buffet - the greatest deal in the history of civilization. When they said all you can eat, they meant, please abuse this policy... and trust we did, filling up 3 pizza boxes on the way out the door. Then of course, the stuffed crust pizza. The pizza that changed how we ate a slice. The pizza you ate crust first. To a kid, this was hard for the mind to comprehend. Pizza had rules, and this one broke them.
Pizza Hut today is a shell of its former self and the fall off will be studied. All that’s left is one great idea. Stuff cheese into the pizza crust.
Today we bring it back to life, a little more refined, like the cooks we are. This is the Stuffed Crust Pizza.
