Move over avocado toast...tomato toast is the new jam. Good Italian bread, cherry tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. forgetaboutit.
1 Slice of Really Good Sliced Italian Bread
1 Handful of Cherry Tomatoes (best from the farmers market)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Toast the Bread.
Cut the tomatoes in half. Then on each surface of the toast, rub the tomato and try to get the juice and jelly spread across the toast. I like to squish the tomatoes into the toast. Finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and some sea salt.
