This burger is American made, with a French sauce, and a Japanese plating - why? Let me explain.
Japan has a long history of taking western American dishes, refining them, and presenting them in a distinctly Japanese way. One example is I talian food, pizza in particular, but latest examples, the Sizzling Cheese Burger we made earlier this year, is an American creation, filtered through Japanese lens. Back here in America, that inspires me to see another way. An American crafted burger, improved by the japanese, and then an American makes it French. This is the Au Poivre Burger
