What if what we think about burritos is all wrong? As an American, you may only know one type: Rice, beans, cheese, meat, condiments? What if instead of a fat, over-stuffed burritos, you had a skinny and long burrito minimally stuffed with only two or three ingredients? Then you would have the original burrito, the burrito from Juarez. The burrito that started it all, and paved the way for the Californian/mission styles that we know today. This is the burrito I prefer: thick, pillowy tortillas with perfectly stewed meat and rich, creamy pinto beans. Rolled long and skinny. This is Burritos Juarez.
