The idea of this show is to teach basic techniques and methods for dishes everyone loves...so that once you learn those techniques, you then have the tools to get creative on your own. This is a perfect example of that. After making the the turkey the other day, I was left with a good amount of turkey fat, some good leftover turkey meat, and of course, turkey skin. I could only think of one thing to make with it...Turkey Carbonara...and it was one of my favorite pastas ever. The new best way to use leftover turkey.
